Jack Ryan is a Chartered Engineer, robotics expert, emerging technology specialist and the founder behind Sygneus. With experience spanning government, start-ups, multinationals, and academia — and an active research role in Human-Robot Interaction at the University of Bath — he brings rare cross-sector depth to every engagement. Since founding Sygneus, he has led the delivery of multi-million-pound contracts, forged international partnerships, and driven exceptional ROI for clients. Jack’s edge lies in bridging worlds: deep technical fluency meets sharp commercial instinct, giving innovators the strategic leadership they need to take breakthrough technology from the lab to lasting real-world impact.
David Milton
Non-Executive Advisor
David Milton is a highly experienced business advisor, executive coach, and entrepreneur with a strong track record of building, scaling, and exiting ventures across multiple sectors. He serves as Entrepreneur in Residence at Warwick Manufacturing Group, Visiting Faculty at Aston Business School, and supports high-growth companies through the NatWest Accelerator programme.
David co-founded Zelim, a pioneer in unmanned maritime rescue systems, leading the company through pre-seed and seed investment rounds to a successful exit at Series A. Across his career, he has contributed to six exits, eight investment rounds, and two management buyouts. At Sygneus, David acts as a Non-Executive Advisor to the Director, providing ongoing guidance on business growth, commercial strategy, and leadership.
