We are looking for a high-performing Bid Writer to support both Sygneus and our client accounts across defence, nuclear, robotics, AI, and adjacent sectors.
This is a central role within the business, focused on developing high-quality, winning proposals from end-to-end.
You will work closely with founders, engineers, commercial leads, and delivery teams to convert technical capability into structured, compelling submissions.
Your Role
You will lead and coordinate bid activity across multiple programmes and organisations.
The role spans the full lifecycle from early capture and qualification through to submission management and post-submission support.
This position suits someone who combines strong written communication with structure, commercial awareness, and the ability to operate under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead bid development from capture through to submission
- Build compliance matrices, response structures, and win themes
- Translate complex technical solutions into clear written responses
- Coordinate inputs from internal teams, partners, and subject matter experts
- Manage timelines, reviews, and submission readiness
- Support strategic positioning and customer alignment
- Maintain high standards of clarity, consistency, and quality
